It's a logbook and species-spotting app built by Thresher Shark Divers in Malapascua, Philippines. You earn stamps and points for each species you sight, level up across tracks (Threshers, Sharks, Macro, Nudibranchs, Seahorses, Tropical Fish, and more), and build a personal record of every dive.

The app is free and you do not need to be a TSD guest to use it. Divers visiting other sites and shops in the Philippines are welcome.

Open the app and tap Sign up. Enter your email and a password, or use Sign in with Apple. No access code is needed.

If you don't receive the confirmation email, check your spam folder. If it still isn't there, email us.

Tap Sign in, then Forgot password? Enter the email you signed up with and we'll send a reset link. The link expires after 1 hour for security.

Each species in the app has a rarity tier. Common species are worth 1 point, uncommon 3, rare 5, and Master Keys (the showcase species for each track) are worth 10. You collect a stamp the first time you log a sighting of a species, and earn points each time.

Some sightings need to be verified by a TSD divemaster or staff member before they count toward leaderboards. The app will show "pending" status while it's being reviewed.

A divemaster reviews each sighting that needs verification. The most common reasons for a sighting being rejected are: the photo isn't clear enough to confirm the species, the species was misidentified, or the location doesn't match where the species is normally found.

You can edit and resubmit. If you think a decision was wrong, email us with the sighting date and species and we'll take another look.

In the app, go to Profile, then Settings, then scroll to the Danger zone. Tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, sightings, photos, and any data linked to you.

If you can't sign in to do this yourself, email us from your account address and we'll do it for you within 7 working days.

First, try closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't work, sign out and sign back in.

Yes. We have tracks for species you'll see across the Philippines and worldwide, including Tropical Fish, Macro, Seahorses, and Nudibranchs. You can log sightings from anywhere.

Site-specific tracks for Moalboal and other locations are in development. If you have a suggestion for a track we should add, email us.

Your email is used to sign you in. Your sightings, photos, and notes are stored so you can see your own logbook. Aggregated data (species counts, popular sites) helps us improve the app and contribute to citizen science.

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Yes please. In the app, tap any species card and look for Suggest an edit, or use the Suggest a creature button in the More Masters section. Alternatively just email us with the details.
